The position: Seasoned IT Help Desk Technician with a minimum of 4 years experience in a wide range of modern technologies. Critical thinking and strong interpersonal skills are a must. The applicant will work with a team of professionals but also needs to be a self-starter and hard worker. The position is ideally suited for someone who thrives on learning new things, loves a dynamic work environment, and appreciates the flexibility that comes with the ability to work at client sites, in the office, and remotely.

Office is in the Winston-Salem, NC area.

Working environment: Mostly in the corporate office, but with the flexibility to work remotely and occasionally visit client sites in the Winston-Salem area.

In this position you will exercise interpersonal skills, such as:

  • Ability to communicate technical information to audiences of varying skill levels.
  • Be cognizant of end-users’ capabilities, time constraints, and work demands while assisting
  • Follow-up with clients after resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Always maintain polite and courteous demeanor while addressing customers

You will also utilize professional skills:

  • Critically think about issue symptoms while aiming to always address the root cause
  • Proactively consider and suggest ways to mitigate issues
  • Monitor and respond to clients’ requests in a timely manner via the ticketing system
  • Document details of resolutions and know when to escalate an issue to senior support
  • Create project plans and maintain responsibility over project elements
  • Assist implementation of larger projects under the direction of a senior IT Project Manager
  • Take initiative and address matters in a logical manner without constant supervision
  • Time management is a must – accurately record time spent assisting clients over a 40hr week
  • Prioritize incoming tasks across a large pool of clients with various environment configurations

Technical skills required:

  • Monitor and verify client backup health using a variety of backup solutions
  • Support technical aspects of server, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
  • Assist clients via phone, video, email, and in-person
  • Troubleshooting basic networking issues with little to no documentation of infrastructure
  • Experience with VOIP solutions (3CX, RingCentral, Zoom Phone, etc.)
  • Setup computers while maintaining client data integrity
  • Microsoft and Mac OS (Win 7, Win 8, Win 10, Mac OS X)
  • Microsoft Server (Server 2008-2019)
  • Group Policy and Active Directory management
  • Microsoft 365 Admin Centers (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Azure AD)
  • Experience with the use of collaborative tools in a work environment (Zoom, Teams, OneDrive, Sharepoint)
  • ALL flavors of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with various VPN technologies
  • MCP or A+ certification a plus
  • Requires 3+ years of experience in a technical support role working with either customers or many internal department users.
  • Running and terminating network cable
  • Experience with managed networking including Meraki, UniFi
  • Experience with Mikrotik, SonicWall, Sophos firewall routers

Requirements:

  • Passion for great design, user experience and site usability
  • 2-4+ years of demonstrated professional experience in all major UX disciplines – information architecture, user interface design and content strategy across a variety of environments – web applications, websites and mobile
  • 2-4+ years of demonstrated professional experience in front-end development

Navarac is seeking an experienced .NET developer to join our team.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of web development experience in .NET
  • Knowledge of database schema design, normalization and optimization with a strong background in T-SQL
  • Proficiency with SQL Server integration services and SQL Reporting Services report development
  • Demonstrated experience in e-commerce web integration
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML5/DOM, XML, CSS3, AJAX and Javascript, particularly the jQuery framework
